EngineMAXX has now been superseded by HDL90 a universal Advanced synthetic additive

EngineMaxx is a universal oil additive specifically designed for use in engines that require medium to high ash oils (1.0% or more). It is suitable for use in most car and truck engines that employ conventional, off-the-shelf oils.  EngineMaxx provides engines with exceptional anti-wear protection, a superb detergent/dispersant package, viscosity index improvers and effective corrosion inhibitors. EngineMaxx is a balanced additive package that provides complete lubrication to mineral-based and synthetic oils.

Primary Benefits of EngineMaxx:
The primary benefit of EngineMaxx is friction reduction within the boundary lubrication regime, where metal-to-metal contact causes component wear.  This protection is crucial to the ring zone, turbocharger and camshaft lobe areas in engines, and the pump, cylinder rods and valves in hydraulics.

Safety data sheet
  • Reduces ultrasonic noise created by component wear.
  • Helps prevent sludge and varnish formation.
  • Lowers operating temperatures by reducing friction.
  • Provides an improved seal around the ring zone area that improves combustion efficiency and reduces smoke opacity and blow-by gasses.
  • Reduces fuel and/or electrical power consumption.
  • Improves filtration efficiency by reducing the generation of large wear particles.
  • Increases equipment availability and extends equipment life.

EngineMaxx is intended for use in internal combustion engine crankcases. It is applied at 3% of the oil volume each time the oil is changed. (1oz. per quart).  EngineMaxx is also suitable for use in automatic transmissions at an application rate of 1%, in power-shift transmissions at 3%, and in circulating systems at 3% or 5%, depending on the severity of service. EngineMaxx is compatible with mineral-based and synthetic oils based on polyalphaolefins and diesters. At the recommended application rates, EngineMaxx will not affect the viscosity of your engine oil, nor will it adversely affect engine seal materials.
